Humbled at Coopers

Alex, Maria and I visited Coopers Rock a couple weeks ago, and among several problems that spat us off over and over was the V5 Roof Problem on the Ships Prow boulder. Alex works his way out to the lip, but the hard work is not done there.

Hueco Tanks Spring 2007 - Baby Martini Roof

Maria, Kevin, Alex and Bob B had an outstanding but too-short trip to Hueco this spring. We'll just call it reconnaissance for a more ambitious trip to come.

We spent our last rainy half day under the infamous Martini Roof. Maria here works the crux of Baby Martini, V6. It comes after about 20 feet of roof work. If that right toe hook slips, all hope is lost, but she put it together.
