Carter Lake, CO

Here's an image from my most recent climbing trip. This is considered a Colorado classic, and rightfully so. It's called Sloper Chief, rated v6, and hands down one of the best problems I have ever been on.

Throw Back!

Jeez Louise!

What a throw back! Good times..., except for that big BA kid. Royal pain in the ar$3.

Crazy Teenagers...

Another relic I dug up on my rainy day of computer work.

Jason Tucker-Schwartz and Brian Booher of "ye olde Sportrock daze".

Sometime in November 2003 Brian, Jason, and I went down to Boone, NC and did some multi-pitch climbing before the rain sent us packing. Here, Brian and Jason have just finished the 3rd pitch of Butress Direct 5.8 and are chagrined at how "high" they are, were.

Anyways, we finished up the overhung, juggy OPA 5.9+ which both of them were psyched about -- in varying degrees.

Coopers Rock

Found a picture of this arete on my day off work. I recall getting on this problem a handful of times, it's an arete down from Colorful Corner and 40 yards east of Ships Prow.

Dunno what its name is or what its formally rated, but I did like it. Except for that damned mono-pocket.

On one Coopers' visit, Alex got on this problem while I spotted him standing on two busted feet. Not my favorite memory.
