Humbled at Coopers

Alex, Maria and I visited Coopers Rock a couple weeks ago, and among several problems that spat us off over and over was the V5 Roof Problem on the Ships Prow boulder. Alex works his way out to the lip, but the hard work is not done there.

That's a really hard problem from what I remember. The top-out is particularly delicate and gaston-like.

Yeah, it ends with a long lunging left-hand reach to the lip, with the right locked off at your shoulder. If you pull onto the problem from the ground at the lip, it's fine, but after working out the roof, it makes for a tough last move.
