Leavenworth, WA (2 hrs. east of Seattle)

Bob D and I went to Leavenworth and had a great time. Although I haven't had the chance to climb in a month it was still really fun. There's so much granite rock (with good friction almost too good that it hurts) out in Leavenworth. Anything from Sport routes to multi-pitch trad routes and lots of boulders discovered/undiscovered. Icicle Canyon stretches for 10 miles and is littered with huge boulders. This doesn't even include the other section Tumwater Canyon. Gold bar is an hour from Seattle so I will be checking that place out soon.

I'll try to take more pictures the next time I'm out but it's hard spotting and taking pictures at the same time. (not recommended)
