A fine, cold morning in October in Boone, NC. Sitting atop my picnic table at Grandfather Campground west of Boone, waiting for my coffee water to boil. When I woke up, my sleeping bag was frosted over.

A good weekend of bouldering at Hound Ears, junior team and all.
