Coopers' Rock Revenge! This is what my ankle looked like two days after jumping off a boulder problem from 20 feet high. Fortunately, my aim was good and I landed on a crash pad. Unfortunately, I did not know there was a crippling, turtle-shaped rock underneath the crash pad which caused me to roll my ankle almost 90 degrees. I dislocated my subtailor joint the orthopaedist said. Meaning, you should have broken it but you didn't.  Posted by Hello

I was actually stupid enough to trust other boulderers (were they from ohio?) who had been falling on the same pad without incident.

the moral of the story boys and girls is... if it can happen, someday it will happen.
